| without konnie's gracious help with the last entry, whoever thought i would personally update this xanga again? i sure didnt know, until i wanted to find a way to distract myself from the massive loads of work accumlating like snow in these final three weeks of school. this week, i gave a presentation on a paper, partook in a piano recital, and on wednesday/thurs, my russian prof will critically examine my mediocre russian oral skills. whoa...this should be fun. can't wait until next week...and finals week.
yea, i bored at the moment and i'm trying my best to avert the stress that will soon attack my mind. so today i registered for my spring semester classes...yay. here's my tentative schedule:
principles of economics
beginning russian II
intro to philosophy
university seminar: democracy in america
calc II business
pe
piano/band possibly
yay
homm...i think i should start writing my 10page theology paper now.
ok bye. das cvestanya.

| hello all. this is khanh speaking...er...typing. since brian doesn't want to write anything, i have taken the liberty to tell you about his life. JUST KIDDING! yeah right, like i have the time to do so. but if you want, i have some fun stories about him. or you can ask his brother who knows him better :) oh btw, brian is sitting right next to me and he's not very happy with what i just wrote. teehee. well, he's back in town for only a week...from sunday night to saturday morning. it kinda sucks that the week has gone by so quickly. but he'll be back for xmas. yay for xmas. so tomorrow we're planning to go see good night and good luck if anyone wants to come. you'll have to call first so you'd know where and when. but it looks like an extremely gooooood movie. oh how i can't hold in the excitement. anyway, i'm just hanging out with this awesome guy as much as i can while he's still here. poor kid is gonna have to go to school with me tomorrow. hahaha :) but whatever, we get to hang out and he can meet my crazy/funny calc prof. hmmm...what else do i have to say? nada. so good night and see y'all later.
bye-brian
wow...lazy, brian. that's all you have to say after everything i've written? :) -khanh

| although i think there's some activity at our student union right now, i decided to stay in the dorm with my roomate who's sleeping right now. my first few days here have been tough, but i'm adjusting to the college life. if my stupid airline didnt lose my luggage, the transition would have been much smoother. fortunately though, i received it two days later after i arrived and moved in on saturday, after most freshmen moved in...oh well...ok, i'm tired. im/call me or something to hear more.
this place is awesome...at least so far.
| this is not a goodbye, but only a farewell to the past and a hello to the future. unlike in literature, in which we usually see characters haunted by their dreadful past, my past will brigthen those faint fall nights and melt away those bleak snowy days in january. lol...hopefully i dont have a seasonal depression disorder...that would be horrible.
anyway, i'll miss everyone, especially the pilgrim in germany who's given me so much, but i know i'll see everyone again. I'm coming back Oct 16 so call me to hang out, and to those leaving san diego, i'll see you during winterbreak! i will try to update this thing while i'm at notre dame yet considereing i havent updated my xanga for two months, i really dont know but i shall try.
my plane leaves at 9 am.
until next time san diego...

| Last Saturday turned out to be quite a thrilling day. Who couldn't get excited about eating in a beatiful homey backyard and having the opportunity to taste chef randy's exquisite food? Oh, and of course I could hardly wait for Prom...yep, Prom was pretty awesome with its crafty dj and fantastic long lines for pictures...j/k. But really, it was fun. Choco fountains, ice sculptures, the free photo booth thing, and....err...dancing?....all made a great experience.
Hmm...only four days left and then graduation next friday. Simply amazing.
